Now it's official! I'm beginning an online mentorship and I'm going to start with my fellow brazilian illustrators - I need to work up my english a little more to be able to instruct international students properly - , but refer to the end of this journal to know more about the course.
If I get enough people interested on it I may figure out some solution for international students.
Ao mesmo tempo em que pessoas costumam elogiar meu uso de cores cursos normais costumam negligenciar o ensino da colorização. Finalmente cheguei em um ponto no qual acumulei conhecimento o suficiente digno de ser ensinado e é com alegria que anuncio o começo de minhas aulas online!

Principais pontos do curso
- Introdução – Todos começarão da mesma forma. Apresentarei o conceito básico por trás das cores mostrando os elementos que as compõem. Avaliarei também o seu trabalho, identificando os pontos fortes e os que precisam ser trabalhados. Já haverá dever de casa para uma melhor avaliação da percepção de cores, e neste dia mostrarei também um terrível segredo, huhuhu.
- Teoria das Cores – Muitas escolas abordam a teoria das cores porém poucas mostram como aplicá-la de forma eficiente. Mostrarei como utilizo os conceitos mais básicos na prática e como aplico a teoria e conhecimentos gerais para construir atmosfera e evocar emoções no observador.
- Composição e foco – Cores podem auxiliar - ou arruinar - uma boa composição. Mostrarei como usar valores e cores para auxiliar a leitura de uma ilustração.
- Softwares – Mostrarei como lidar com o Paint Tool SAI, uma ferramenta leve e barata, além de como combiná-lo com o Photoshop e como ajustar seus trabalhos e aplicar filtros e texturas adequadamente, além de práticas comuns que devem ser evitadas.
- Paintovers e críticas – Farei paintovers dos trabalhos para mostrar quais pontos precisam ser desenvolvidos e mais importante, como. Você terá a oportunidade de acompanhar o processo, fazer perguntas e aprender como exatamente fortalecer seu trabalho.
- Exercícios – Você receberá exercícios e orientação de como estudar fora das aulas.
- Demos – Todos no programa terão acesso a demos gratuitas. ;D
Preço e duração
A hora aula custa R$ 35. O mínimo de aulas são 4 por mês, uma hora por semana, mas você poderá fazer mais horas por mês, basta combinar comigo.
Não existe duração mínima para o curso. Você poderá receber orientação durante quanto tempo achar necessário e parar quando desejar. Eu particularmente recomendo fazer ao menos quatro aulas para que eu possa repassar os principais pontos da minha técnica de pintura.

Pré-requisitos
- – É necessário que você possua noções básicas de desenho tirar máximo proveito das aulas. Calma, não precisa ser um gênio (eu mesma não sou)!
- – Tablet. É fundamental, não poderei ensinar a pintar digitalmente utilizando um mouse.
- – Boa conexão. As aulas serão dadas ao vivo e se você não possuir uma boa conexão poderá enfrentar dificuldades para acompanhá-las.
At the same time people usually congratulate me for my use of colors many schools usually neglect the painting teaching. Finally I've reached a point where I've accumulated enough knowledge worthy of teaching and it's with joy that I announce the start of my online mentorship!
Unfortunately my English is so broken that I fear I am not able to pass down all the knowledge yet. As soon as possible I'm going to start with international students (unless you want to laugh to death).

Highlights of the course
- Introduction – Everyone will start the same way. I'm going to present the basic concepts behind the colors, showing the elements that compose them. I'm going to review your portfolio, identifying the stronger points and the ones which need more working. There's already homework, so I can better judge your color perception. I'm going to show you a terrible secret too, huhuhuhu.
- Color theory – Many schools address the color theory fundamentals, but few show how to apply them efficiently. I'm going to show you how I use them in pratice and how do I apply the theory and general knowledge to build mood and evoke the most variated emotions on the onlooker.
- Focus and Conposition – Colors can help - or ruin - a good composition. I'm going to show how to use values and colors to help the illustration reading.
- Softwares – You're going to learn how to use the Paint Tool SAI, a cheap and lightweight software and also how combine it with Photoshop to adjust your works, apply filters properly and use textures, and also the "don't"s you should avoid. You can use Photoshop only if you wish.
- Critiques and paintovers – I'm going to do paintovers of your works to show which points need improvement and the most important, how to. You're going to have the opportunity to follow the process, ask questions and learn how to exactly strengthen your work.
- Assigments – You're going to receive assigments and orientation of how study outside the classes.
- Demos – Everyone in the program will have access to free demos. ;D
Duration and price
Each hour costs $25. You should take at least four classes each month, one hour a week, but you can take more classes if you want, just get in touch.
There is no minimum duration for the course, you can receive orientation for how much time you think it's needed and stop when you want. I recomend to take at least four classes so you can learn the main points of my painting techinique.

Requirements
- – You must have basic drawing skills to get the best from the mentorship. Relax, you don't need to be a genius (I'm not one)!
- – Tablet. It's fundamental, I can't teach you to paint with a mouse.
- – Good internet connection. The classes are live and if you don't have a stable connection you may find difficult to follow them.
